Then there is Animal Crossing Bells the issue of determining what's new? How long would we need to utilize spoilers? When exactly does brand new content prevent being'fresh' and for whom? Using the southern hemisphere again a good example, snow by mid-July was not new for us. But we'd be asked to use spoiler tags while northern hemisphere players would not.
Perhaps spoiler tags should be invited, but I really don't think they ought to be a mandatory rule.
I would like to say I enjoy memorial posts. I like creating a safe space for individuals to discuss their heart and despair with us. I think that for somebody who does not understand the principles to log on and be vulnerable to then get their article taken down or not accepted would lead to further isolation and harm.
If you need to change anything, maybe you may add flair to memorial posts to function as a trigger warning to those who've unhealed hurt and want to skip past those posts.
I truly don't think the answer would be to eliminate them entirely. People come from a very vulnerable place posting those and are attempting to offer their heart to a safe community they expect will accept it. I believe it could be really damaging to find an automated delete in return.
Additionally regarding spoilers and time traveling, I know think it's an incredibly tough issue to moderate regarding seasonal events and items. What is a spoiler for the northen hemisphere isn't a spoiler for the southern (and vice versa) and it would be unjust to police people's hemisphere option for the sake of a spoiler tag. I do however feel that spoilers might be used for time locked items (such as the mario things ) that are hacked in before their release date. This would be less taxing to medium as there is a set release date for the items and the can you buy bells in animal crossing new horizons spoiler tag could be enforced in the day of this update to the day of thing release. It's not something that disturbs me but could be something to consider.
