Violence in Movies and Real Life

The modern world is an incredibly diverse place. The development of technologies has led to the rapid changes in different spheres of everyday life. These features have led to the emergence of significant amount of various issues. One of the most notable among them is the issue of violence, which is steadily growing in all its forms. Some people state that this problem is linked to the fact of promotion of violence in movies. The assessment of possible correlation between violence in the TV programs and movies and real life should get the proper evaluation.

First of all, it is necessary to define whether the correlation between different expositions of violence in movies and real life is present at all. Referring to psychology, one could state that the violent behavior is not typical for people. Any individual is not willing to act aggressively if he or she does not know about the opportunity of such type of behavior. However, in case if an individual gets information about the possibility of violent behavior, he or she would apply this experience to the suitable situation.

Witnessing violence in movies is similar to experiencing or participating in abuse or harassment in real life. All the films and series are willing to create the feeling of the viewers presence in the events, and this fact is also relevant for violent scenes. After this, people repeat the obtained experience from movies in real life.

To sum up, it is obvious that violence in movies and real life is firmly connected. Naturally, people are not willing to act aggressively. However, the constant viewing of violent scenes in films and series could lead to growing possibility of performing similar actions in real life if an individual sees an appropriate situation for it. That is why an amount of violent scenes in films should be limited, or at least controlled.
