CompuServe, also known as CompuServe Information Services, was an American Internet service provider. It dominated the internet service providing an area in the 90's and 80's when this concept was new to the world and people started getting to know these things. CompuServe was also known for its chat and messaging service. Later in the years, the CompuServe email service was also introduced, which again was a new conviction for people, those days.

This CIS company also includes the most popular series of online games, with Megawars III and Kesmai Island being the most popular. The company had also introduced the GIF image format for the first time, which is very popular these days.

Later on, CIS was acquired by AOL in 1997 and later in 2015 AOL, along with the CompuServe email service, was sold to Verizon. This deal raises a lot of questions among users who now started to wonder how they are going to do the CompuServe sign-in and will they still be able to get their data stored in the CS email back.

To answer your question, users with old CompuServe email accounts can still access them and get their data back. However, we cannot make a new CompuServe email account of the abc@cs.com format since after its acquisition by AOL.

Following are the steps for doing CompuServe webmail cs.com login:

  1. First, you have to go to the official CompuServe website, which is compuserve.com.

  2. As soon as you reach the home page, locate the CompuServe Mail option in the top left corner of the page.

  3. Click on it to go to the login page.

  4. Once you click on that link, the AOL login page will open.

  5. There, you have to enter your username or email address or mobile number from which you can access your CompuServe email account.

  6. Click on the “Next” button.

  7. In the second window, enter the password and click “Sign in” to enter your email account.
