N Chandrababu Naidu, the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh, unveiled the Naipunya Ratham, a multipurpose vehicle. Naipunya Ratham, also known as “World on Wheels (WoW),” aims to bring innovation and technology to the far reaches of the State.
The Naipunya Rathams will support and work to develop digital literacy and digital skills as part of the state's “Smart Village Smart Ward Programme.” The project would receive Rs 300 crore from the State Government.
World on Wheels (WoW) is an innovative mobile technology bus developed by HP Inc. The bus has a self-contained internet-enabled digital lab aimed at driving digital literacy, education programming entrepreneurship training, and other community services in underserved areas.
