You need not travel to Andamans, Goa or one of the many exotic South East Asian exotic locations to carry out Scuba Diving. A new PADI certified diving centre has come up in Mamallapuram and it is only about 60 km away from Chennai. Salty Bone Divers is a novel venture that intends to promote all kinds of diving and awareness about knowledge of marine life. Some of the dive sites are the ruins of ancient temples of Mahabalipuram of the Pallava Dynasty.
The Scuba Diving programme lets you experience the thrill of diving under the supervision of an instructor. During your adventure, you’ll master some basic concepts and scuba skills before heading off on an open water dive that takes you as deep as 40 feet! They also have special children diving course called Bubblemaker for 8-year-old children.
If you are already a certified diver, you can join their daily Fun Dives.
There is a 10% discount if you bring your own gear. You can also look out for rescue diver and open water dive certifications.
