If you purchased one of these tickets, cancellations can be made at any time prior to your flight departure and the refund will be issued to your original credit card within 7 days (should appear on your statement within 1–2 billing cycles).
Award ticket: If you have booked an award ticket with Air Canada and it has been more than 24 hours, the cancellation fee is $125 for those canceling through aeroplan.com and $150 for those canceling through an Aeroplan contact center.
If you have Diamond status in Air Canada’s Aeroplan program, those figures are reduced to $30 for online cancellations and $100 for contact center cancellations. Those with top-tier Altitude Super Elite 100k status with Air Canada will not be charged cancellation fees.
