We all are aware of the robustness of an ODROID N2. So, what's new in the ODROID N2 Plus? Is this new ODROID N2 Plus compatible for gamers due to its wide range of applications? Let's explore.

Here is the innovative ODROID N2 Plus single-board computer

It's been proven that ODROID N2 Plus is a tremendous and fast-performing new-generation single-board computer compared to the standard N2. The main CPU of the N2+ is based on a minimal architecture that integrates a quad-core 2.4Ghz ARM Cortex-A73 CPU cluster and a dual-core 2.0Ghz Cortex-A53 cluster with a Mali-G52 GPU new generation.

Thanks to modern 12nm silicon technology in ODROID N2 Plus, A73 cores run at 2.4 GHz without thermal throttling using the standard metal case heatsink, allowing for a robust and quiet computer. The multi-core performance of the CPU is about 20% faster, and the GPU is 10% faster than the N2. The N2+'s DDR4 RAM runs at 1320 Mhz with a low power consumption of 1.2 volts. The large metal case heatsink optimizes CPU and RAM heat dissipation and minimizes throttling. The CPU is placed at the bottom of the PCB to establish excellent thermal characteristics.

Heatsink size comparison: System height decreased from approximately 34mm to 29mm thanks to the N2+'s slimmer heatsink.

ODROID N2 Plus: Single Board Computer N2 Plus 4 GB RAM

The ODROID N2 Plus is perfect for installing Home Assistant and dominating your home. ODROID N2+ is a revision of ODROID-N2.

  • The maximum CPU clock of Quad-core Cortex-A73 is increased to 2.4 Ghz from 1.8 Ghz.
  • The top CPU clock of the dual-core Cortex-A53 is increased to 2.0 Ghz from 1.9 GHz.
  • Built-in RTC battery backup support is mounted on the board.

The central processor of ODROID N2 Plus is based on the grand architecture. It integrates a quad-core ARM Cortex-A73 processor cluster and a dual-core Cortex-A53 cluster with a next-generation Mali-G52 GPU. Thanks to modern 12nm silicon technology, A73 cores run at 2.2GHz without thermal throttling using the original metal-cased heatsink for a rugged and quiet computer.

The multi-core performance of the CPU is about 20% faster, and the GPU is 10% faster than the N1. The ODROID N2 Plus's DDR4 RAM runs at 1320MHz with a low power consumption of 1.2 volts. The large metal-cased heatsink optimizes CPU and RAM heat dissipation and minimizes throttling. The CPU is placed at the bottom of the PCB to establish excellent thermal characteristics.
