AV Access, a leading brand in the online market of Pro-AV industry, recently announced the addition of HDEX80-KVM extender kit to the company’s KVM extender portfolio. HDEX80-KVM HDMI KVM extender offers up to 80m/260ft HDMI and USB 2.0 signal extension. With its high image quality, zero latency and slim size, this extender kit is ideal for any long-distance KVM extension applications like homes, offices, control centers, conference rooms, schools, etc.

Zero Latency in KVM Extension

With just a single Cat5e/6 cable, the HDEX80-KVM transmitter and receiver can extend 1080P@60hz full HD HDMI signal up to 80m/260ft. It can also extend USB 2.0 signal, stereo audio and power up to 80m/260ft, with zero signal loss or delay.

The transmitter and the receiver are respectively built with a USB port (for PC) and two USB device ports, so users can remotely control a PC with keyboard, mouse, webcam, flash drive or other USB 2.0 peripherals. “Compared with other KVM over IP solutions on the market, HDEX80-KVM extender offers a zero-latency solution in scenarios where you need long-distance KVM extension. It is one of our best-selling KVM extenders so far, ideal for data control centers and video surveillance centers, as remote server control is a daily task for operators working in these environments,” commented Mandy Xiong, CEO at AV Access.

Ultra-Slim Design & High Performance

“Both the transmitter and the receiver are built with a slim design, as small as a smartphone. They are easy to install and space-saving; you can almost place them everywhere in your house. Besides, the KVM extender kit is plug and play, no additional software driver required,” added Mandy.

What’s more, HDEX80-KVM HDMI extender supports bi-directional PoE function which integrates power into the CAT5e/6 cable. Thus, only one power supply is required at either TX or RX side for hassle-free installation.

“In addition to HDEX80-KVM HDMI extender, we have a wide range of KVM products like 4KIP100-KVM KVM over IP extender, 2×1 and 4×1 KVM switches, USB 2.0 extender and USB 3.0 switch. In the near future, we plan to develop more KVM over IP solutions to facilitate KVM extension and switching in various applications,” concluded Mandy.
