Coil Bolts are available in diameters ranging from 1/2″ to 1-1/2″ and are designed to work with Coil Ties, Coil Inserts, and other Meadow Burke products that include coil threads. Coil bolts are made with a fast-threading, self-cleaning coil thread and come in a variety of lengths. Coil bolts can come with an incorporated forged head or a hex nut welded to a continuous coil rod length. The integrated forged head Coil Bolt's standard thread length is 4″ for 1/2′′ diameter and 4-1/2″ for all other diameters.
The bolt removal operation will be aided by the application of waterproof, stain-resistant oil to the bolt shaft. Coil Bolts are subject to wear and overuse, and should be inspected for wear, cracks, bends, and overstressing on a regular basis.
