Viewers can see just what a figure and place seems like. In novels the writer must manage to describe in mere words the world they have created. Publishing a novel based on a preexisting film screenplay isn't the most common approach writers elect to take. I'd been aware of Ellery King before, generally for different small history libraries or the journal, but I'n never read one of many books. Queen declines into the role in specialist style, taking great satisfaction in buying the books one by one. The stuck-up spectators who stumbled on quote on the books are in first baffled then irritated by Queen's purchasing. But soon the euphoria is gone. Soon after the auction Queen gets scary news. Walter's dad has committed suicide. But, when Double and another on the police consider the body they realize that even though scene was meant to check like destruction, the killing was obviously murder. Worse, the sole plausible suspect.
