Cleveland Browns receiver Madden 23 coins Jordan Cameron claims it's the focus of defenses that aren't as good as theirs, rather than problems with quarterback Jason Campbell that has slowed his speed in recent weeks as per the May Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer.
“I must accelerate things and I must find a way to open up to the process,” said Cameron. “I must try to be involved and contribute more. I must take on the role of a player and do everything I can to assist this team. This is my aim.”
The third-year receiver had an impressive 2013. however, his output has begun to decrease significantly over the last two weeks, with the new starting quarterback Jason Campbell targeting Cameron just 18 times in the last three games. Cameron has 45 catches and 515 yards and six touchdowns in the initial seven games of the season, has only seven catches for just 33 yards in the two games that he has played.
Cameron, who had been emerging as a big-play threat for the offensively-challenged Browns this season, says that defenses are rolling coverage his way and are now limiting his effectiveness downfield. Cameron, who is just a rookie receiver, says that it's his responsibility to work more hard and outsmart the defense and isn't worried about his chemistry with the team's starting quarterback.
