First of all, turn ON the HP Photosmart 5522 printer and the computer.
After this, you need to go to Devices and Settings on your computer from the printer’s Control panel.
Choose Printers and Scanners, followed by clicking on Add Device to open the WPS window.
Now, go back to the printer panel. You will either receive a connection request message with the PIN on the control panel or a page with the PIN printed in it. On the computer, enter the PIN number and then click on Next to finish the connection process.

On the printer, you will receive a Wi-Fi Direct connection request message. This message will be available temporarily. Open the photo you wish to print. Open the app menu and then touch the Share icon.
You will see a Print icon. Tap the appropriate option. You will find your Wi-Fi Direct printer name on the screen. Change the print job settings and tap Print to complete the process.
