How do I become a civil Engineer
1. Eligibility Criteria
· 10+2 with physics, chemistry & Mathematics is mandatory to get admissions for Civil Engineering.
· After completing 10+2 one has pass the entrance exam for the admissions of Civil Engineering. Some of the exams are IIT, JEE, AIEEE, BITSAT etc.
Degree
After clearing the entrance exam you can apply in different colleges for the admission. Universities & colleges give admissions on the basis of the ranks in the entrance exam. After clearing the entrance exam you will admission for B.Tech. B.Tech is a 4 years program that includes the study of material science, structural designs of buildings, bridges, roads, dams, etc, construction materials & management. After the completion of under graduation one can study M.Tech. To get admissions for M.Tech one has the clear the GATE.
For the post of junior Engineer one can also go with diploma course.
