Method 1: Uninstall Google Play Updates.

If this error appeared after the Google Play Store Updates, then you should Uninstall Updates of Google Play Store. May be there is some problem with the update or the update is not properly installed.

Go to: Settings –> Application Manager –> Google Play Store –> Uninstall Updates.

Method 2: Clear Cache for Google Play Store.

Sometimes this error can also occur due to some fault in cache. By clearing the Cache, this error is easily resolved.

Go to: Settings –> Application Manager –> Google Play Store –> Force Stop.

Go to: Settings –> Application Manager –> Google Play Store –> Clear Data.

Go to: Settings –> Application Manager –> Google Play Store –> Clear Cache.

Method 3: Enable any Disabled App.

This method to fix “Unfortunately Google Play Store has Stopped Working” error is effective in most of the cases.

Steps to Follow:

  • Set your Phone in Flight Mode.
  • Go to: Settings –> Application Manager –> All Apps.
  • Scroll Down to bottom and Enable any Disabled App.
  • Set your Phone back to Normal Mode.

This error sometimes also occur due to fault in cellular data. It requires High speed Connection so use Wifi Only to download, Update anything.

Go to: Settings –> Wireless and Networks –> Mobile networks –> Turn off Mobile Data.
