With the terrible feedback NBA 2K22 MT received from players last yearit's no surprise that they decided to make the City their primary hub for career mode. Perhaps, they couldn't come to a different concept for the hub this year and decided to use the City once again.
Fans can still go to various shops to purchase apparel to their favorite sports player. This season they have added new clothing brands, so keep your eyes on the watch for new outfits. The game mode wasn't available due to a bug that was present in the PS5 version. I cannot give you any details about what's new.
NBA 2K22 is an excellent video game, and so are previous games. I believe that PS5 and Xbox Series X owners should be able to play the game 100% based on the enhanced graphics and the new My Player mode story alone.
If you have a PS4 or Xbox One though, I will not be buying the game this year. It appears that the PS4 version is the exact same version as the game from last year. In the end, if players love the game and own the PS4 or Xbox One, by all means, go for it, however, it appears that they didn't even try to make it better for older consoles.
If fans want to get the game on the Nintendo Switch, I would hold off until the game is available in retail stores or through the Nintendo E-Shop. My teenage years was spending time playing NBA 2k13 on the Wii on weeknights, playing my way around its purpose of keeping me in shape by flicking my wrists to take shots from the couch. My first encounter with MyCareer mode was when I designed a perimeter guard for the Chicago Bulls.
My encounter with 2k has been reported about the gradual development of graphics (and sometimes, visits to the PS4 arcade pre-pandemic). It's still the biggest NBA game to date with the exception that last year's title attracted a lot of negative feedback on Metacritic by users.

The game of the year NBA 2K22 still uses two versions of the current generation and the following generation to accommodate players playing on various platforms. The current generation is no longer the focus of NBA 2K22 development.
