A new report says Samsung is developing two new foldable phones as a follow-on to its recently launched Galaxy Fold smartphone.
In terms of folding mechanism, these two devices are very different from the former device.
Unlike the Galaxy Fold, the Galaxy Fold has a small screen on one side and a large screen from the inside. Samsung plans to borrow the design of its competitor Huawei for one of its new phones.
Huawei's Mate X is deployed from a single screen and wrapped outside the device when folded.
The second new folding phone will feature a flip-top device that folds vertically, possibly similar to the upcoming Motorola Razr.
The rumors about the new foldable phone come from sources quoted by Bloomberg, who claim to be familiar with the plan of the Korean tech giant.
