The Honda Jazz was first launched in India in 2018, with a starting price of Rs 7.35 (Delhi). Compared with the previous model, the new and improved version of Jazz hatchback has many additional features. There are three options for the 2018 Honda Jazz: S, V and VX. The basic variant of Jazz comes with a separate diesel engine option for use with a manual gearbox. The V-type and VX-type are available in gasoline engines and diesel engines. CVT gearboxes are also available for mid-range and top gasoline engines.
The 2018 Honda Jazz uses the same 1.2-liter gasoline and 1.5-liter diesel engines. The gasoline engine produces 88bhp and 110Nm of torque. It is further matched with a five-speed manual or CVT gearbox. On the other hand, the diesel engine produces 98bhp and 200Nm of torque. This is further coupled with a six-speed manual transmission.
Although the new Honda Jazz does not have any major appearance changes, its appearance still has some minor updates. These minor changes include the addition of chrome door handles to the “V” and “VX” variants. In addition, the high-end “VX” variant now offers Honda's iconic LED tail lights.
The new Honda Jazz Face Chang now offers a 6.9-inch advanced touch screen infotainment system. This new system has built-in audio, video and navigation functions. In addition, 2018 Jazz also provides Digipad 2.0 with Bluetooth audio, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The screen can also be used as a reverse camera display.
In addition to all the standard features of the new jazz, the 2018 facelift also adds other features internally. The new interior of the 2018 Honda Jazz includes the front center armrest, the vanity mirror on the driver's side and improved cabin insulation. This Jazz also has a button start/stop button with lighting, cruise control and smart key system.
In general, the 2018 Honda Jazz is no worse than the new Honda Jazz.
