Off-roader Mahindra Thar, which has been extensively overhauled, receives several visual upgrades that enhance its exterior and a considerable mechanical upgrade. Rear differential locking improves the UV's off-roading performance significantly.

A new plastic bumper on the nose was created in accordance with CMV rules. Another noticeable change is that the fenders now appear broader. The soft-top has a noticeable back tilt and is constructed of better-quality material. The appropriate operation of the motor and wiper blades is ensured by new wiper linkages.

A new steering wheel is also there, and the dashboard within the cabin seems a little high. Similar to how the plastic used inside is much better than previously but still not premium, the quality of the materials used in the interior is not on par with that of other Mahindra’s like the Quanto. Although Mahindra Thar's pricing in India has been set competitively with its rivals, given the UV and features it offers, the price seems a little high.

Mahindra Thar Exterior

The exterior images of the Mahindra Thar illustrate how robust the UV seems from the outside. The nose has clear lens headlights, and there are also wheel arches and a bumper because it is intended for off-roading. On top is a modified cover that may be removed.

Side stairs are installed to make entering the cabin simple. This is the single feature shared by both trims, but the Di model lacks all of the aforementioned outside fitments.
