When learning is intensive, detailed, and extensive, it becomes a difficulty most of the time. Learning such enormous chunks of information is difficult, confusing, and inefficient for students. When this knowledge is broken down into bite-sized chunks, it becomes Microlearning, an expert solution. Small bursts of knowledge and learning improve knowledge retention, learner engagement, and consistency, all of which contribute to effective learning.

What Is Microlearning?

Micro learning has no clear definition. Microlearning refers to bite-sized course modules or short-term learning exercises that you can grasp in a short period of time, as indicated by the prefix'micro.'

The following are some aspects of the Microlearning platform

-It is in the form of small bursts of content

-It requires less effort and concentration

-It supports quicker understanding

-It makes learning easier and simpler

Microlearning works best with mobile learning, but it's not the only way to learn; it's just one of the modes that works well with Microlearning.

Some examples:

1.Short videos on YouTube

2.Small sets of content in email, SMS, forums, etc.

3.Small quizzes and games

4.Short variety of audio, texts, and images

Micro learning courses benefit both the facilitator and the learner because of their short and concentrated attention spans and the desire for speedy learning. It appears to be the most effective training paradigm and may be applied to any type of training. It can be used for training employees, employee onboarding, teach skills, and train customers, among other things.
