Manager Mike Shildt of the Major League Baseball (MLB) San Diego Padres did not hide his expectations ahead of the 2024 MLB opening series against the Los Angeles Dodgers held at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul.
Coach Silt met with local reporters at the Peoria Sports Complex in Arizona, USA, where the 2024 MLB exhibition game was held against the Oakland Athletics on the 14th (Korean time) and delivered a message to Korean baseball fans.
He said, “I will visit Seoul with Kim Ha-seong and Ko Woo-seok,” and “I will play a fun and exciting game.”

On the 17th and 18th, a practice game will be held against the Korean national baseball team and the LG Twins at Gocheok Dome, and the official opening two-game series will be played against the Dodgers on the 20th and 21st.
