Its an integrated system for delivering IVR based services through mobile and support, delivering both voice and data services and content in a network and device-independent manner to the extent possible and feasible.

Unified Mobile Application for New-age Governance (UMANG) presents a single integrated platform for all Indian Citizens to reach pan India's e-Governing services extending from Central to Local Government groups and other citizen-centric services.

UMANG aims to provide superior services suggested by Central and State Government authorities, Local bodies and other utility services from private organizations.

It presents a combined approach where citizens can install one application to avail of multiple government services.

UMANG is a Digital India initiative of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology.
