https://www.reelgame.siteCasino developer and operator Nagakov said the operation of Cambodia's Nagarwold casino complex “remains normal” despite the strike on Saturday.  파친코 The Hong Kong-listed company said in a filing on Sunday that the industrial action was “illegal” and involved a “relatively small number” of its employees.

Last week, a trade union announced that employees at Nagaworld would go on strike from Saturday after an unresolved dispute with the resort's operator. And a government-brokered dialogue between management and staff produced inconclusive results.

The union, the “Nagaworld Khmer staff union supported by the labor bloc,” wanted Nagakov to agree to several requests, including reversing some layoffs, and reemployment of some workers, including some union leaders, has already been suspended.

In Sunday's filing, the company said the strike “did not affect the company's operations and business.”

“The Group has adequate working capital and a strong workforce of approximately 6,500 (as of this announcement date) to support the Group's business operations,” it said. “All of the Group's business operations and businesses remain normal, and the Board determines that the illegal strike has not had a substantial negative impact on the Group's business and operations as a whole.”

The casino company also said it had received a court order dated Dec. 16, according to Nagakov, “a strike by union leaders in front of the Nagarwold complex is illegal.” The company also said several people gathered outside the building were “cleared around 5 p.m. on Dec. 18.”

Nagakov confirmed some layoffs and some employee pay cuts at the complex on June 7, with the latter taking effect in March. The company said in a June filing that these measures were “active measures” to manage the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.

In a recent filing, the company said it had provided 1,329 employees with a “mutual separation” plan “with enhanced compensation in addition to payments” required by law. Nagakov, however, said 360 of the affected employees “did not accept the mutual separation plan and provided a notice of a possible strike on Dec. 18.”

The Naga World complex was closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic from early March until it reopened on Sept. 15.
