This rear garden had become an eyesore and healthy and safety risk. The garden had not been touched for a few years. The space was colonized by shrubs, weeds and ground elder. The vegetation growth in some parts was higher than eight foot. Even the access entry was overgrown and we had to cut way through. Neglected sites are a magnet for anti social behavior. St. Andrews church has been neglected as the 1960s in Liverpool. The church top had misshapen, by the 1990s, the ramparts were supported inside with scaffolding. The unique floor had collapsed, leaving the place open to the rudiments for over a decade. The center had been used by medicine addicts and was littered with syringes and remains from fleeting occupation. The site needed to be cleared, remains removed, and security was supreme. We cleared it in three days to allow building works to begin on reinstatement of the structure for use by the institution of higher education.
