Based on Variety, World of Warcraft was budgeted at $160 million. Director Duncan Jones has in the past discussed ideas for two additional films and has admitted that he might not have an opportunity if the first movie is not successful.
“I am not sure anyone will be disappointed after this,” Jones said about World of Warcraft back in July 2015. “And If everything goes as planned I'm pretty certain that [Blizzard's story and franchise director Chris Metzen] and I have a clear idea of the story we could be able to tell in three movies, when given the opportunity.”

Patton states that she took 2.5 hours of physical exercise on a daily basis, in preparation for her part in the film. To top it off she also completed two hours of stunt-training in which she was taught to use knives and swords”I believe it's crucial to to feel physically confident that you're able to perform what your character can do. The physical preparation was very daunting,” Patton said.
“We have an amazing stunt crew, but Paula has taken the time to give herself in their hands,” he said. “So we've actually done some things on camera with Paula typically you'd be using stunt people to accomplish.”World of Warcraft opens on June 10. It's not the only video game coming out this year. Fox's Assassin's creed will be released in theaters on December.
