When Pastor 7 Atlanta was just ten years old, he found himself homeless and running away from home. At that young age, he had no understanding of who God was, but one day, he heard God speak to him and promised never to leave him. At that moment, Pastor 7 committed to dedicating his life to God.

As he grew in his faith and became a disciple of Jesus, Pastor 7 was transformed into a new creation, wholly filled with Christ. His name, “7,” represents the idea that seven is the number of completion.

In 2008, Pastor 7 founded 7 Bridges to Recovery as a non-profit 501c3 organization. He has touched and transformed countless lives through his obedience to God's calling.

Scriptures By Pastor 7 Atlanta

Below are seven verses that Pastor 7 Atlanta shared to help guide us toward a closer relationship with Christ and receive the Spiritual Recovery that we all need:

  1. Listening to God's Word – John 10:27

“My sheep hear my voice; I know them, and they follow me.”

  1. Making a Commitment to Recovery – Deuteronomy 30:19-20

“I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore, choose life, that both you and your descendants may live.”

  1. Letting Go of the Past – Philippians 3:13-14

“Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.”

  1. Seeking God's Will – Romans 12:1-2

“I beseech you, therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by renewing your mind so that you may prove what that good and acceptable and perfect will of God is.”

  1. Walking Through the Valleys of Recovery – 1 Corinthians 10:13

“No temptation has overtaken you except as is common to man, but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.”

  1. Healing Through Serving – Isaiah 58:6-8

“Is this not the fast that I have chosen: To lose the bonds of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, to let the oppressed go free, and that you break every yoke? Is it not to share your bread with the hungry, and that you bring to your house the poor who are cast out; when you see the naked, that you cover him and not hide from your flesh?”

  1. Claiming Victory – 1 Corinthians 15:56-57

“The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”
