Responsibilities:

1. Develop enhancements and perform defect resolution to existing client solutions, integrations, based upon reported issues, client feedback or the product roadmap.

2. Perform third line (development) support for clients and users globally, also liaising with Support and Training teams to resolve issues and to feedback information to such teams to assist in skills transfer.

3. Development, unit and integration testing of software

4. Documentation/modelling of User/System requirements, System/Module/Component designs

5. Report to and take direction from the Maintenance and Support Team Lead and Head of Development.

6. Ensure that development best practices, documentation and coding standards are followed and enhanced where possible.

7. Comply with agreed methodology, standards, policies and procedures to produce a consistently high standard of documentation, and ensure strong governance, sharing knowledge and providing feedback and ideas so that performance is continually improved.

8. Attending daily stand-up meetings for projects and ensuring the status and progress on all current work is always kept updated and communicated.

Requirements:

1. Very good knowledge of C# / .NET

2. Master’s degree in computer science or comparable qualification

3. Good knowledge of developing within the framework of the Microsoft Office suite to Office 2016/365

4. Very good knowledge of relational database analysis and design

5. Very good knowledge of client-side JavaScript

6. Good knowledge of security in web development

7. Good knowledge of T-SQL

8. .NET Framework, Core, Standard

9. ASP.NET MVC

10. Windows Communication Foundation (WCF)

11. Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF)

12. Windows Installer XML toolkit (WiX)

13. Blazor Web Assembly

14. Kendo UI

15. NuGet

16. nHibernate

17. Object Relational Mapping (ORM)

18. Inversion of Control (IoC) / Dependency Injection (DI)

19. Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)
