Education 

Suhel Seth completed his schooling at La Martiniere in Calcutta, one of the most renowned schools in India. After completing his schooling, he completed his graduation in Arts (English Honours) from Jadavpur University. Further, he pursued post-graduation in International Relations from the same university. He later moved abroad to complete his Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School. Also, he was associated with the Harvard Business School Consultants Club.

Career 

Seth founded the advertising agency Equus along with his brother in 1996. Later, he associated with Shunu Sen to establish Quadra Advisory. In 2002, he started Counselage India, a consultancy firm. Currently, he is one of the managing partners. In 2016, he worked with the Tata Group as well to help manage their brand image. The Adani Group also hired him as a brand consultant in 2018. He has been invited as a guest speaker on various occasions to speak about social and commercial trends. Several Indian Institute of Management (IIM) colleges have invited him to various advertising and marketing events. Financial Times, Hindustan Times, The Telegraph, and the Indian Express are some of the publications where he appears as a columnist regularly. Seth has always been an enthusiast of theatre and performed in more than 130 English plays.

An Author 

Over the years, Seth has authored and co-authored numerous books that later became some of the best-sellers. His first book was ‘Your Face’. It compiles the interviews and columns written by him over the years in various magazines. ‘Kalighat To Calcutta’ is one of the renowned books he co-authored with the prominent writers Khushwant Singh and R. K. Laxman. If you are an aspirational Indian looking for a guide to climb to the top, you should read ‘Get to the Top’. It is the sole work of Seth and was published in 2011. He shared important insights about how to make it big in life by connecting with the wealthy and the famous. ‘The Target’ is the last book co-authored by him with Shantanu Guha Ray. It focuses on the defeat of Jignesh Shah’s empire and the nexus behind it. 

Philanthropist 

Suhel Seth is one of the unsung philanthropists of India who contributed to improve society. One of his primary focuses has always been focusing on providing free medical check-up and medical care to the people in need. To support his cause, he became associated with the Max Foundation and Indian Head Injury Foundation. Both organisations have worked immensely to develop the medical sector. Further, he is associated with the Ila trust that focuses on providing free medicines and health check-ups to the people residing in Delhi slums. His donation of 50 lakhs to the Partition Museum is one of the most prominent donations.
