For as long as he can remember, Adam has been deeply protective of Anna. It’s always been the two of them against the world. Unfortunately, their father’s partnership with Detective Jackson fell apart years ago after Jackson saw Conner’s violent nature. When Adam told Detective Jackson about what had happened, he lied and said he killed their father, not his sister. But, knowing the kind of man Conner had been, Jackson admitted that he wasn’t surprised. Jackson wanted to help the siblings, but Adam was scared, unsure of what would happen next.
