Unaffected by the product level, an airless pump bottle delivers products in an inventive way that keeps the surroundings sealed off and free of air. The product is pushed toward the dispenser from the base of the bottle using an inbuilt plastic piston that rises with each usage. This fills the air space left by conventional pumps.
The product is drawn up from the bottom of conventional pump bottles using a tube, and the weight of the solution causes the remaining product to descend and settle at the base, leaving a void at the top. Airless Packaging is two issues with this approach. First, air fills the space at the top, exposing the product to oxygen.
