VIT Vellore Fees Structure & Courses

VITEEE Exam

Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Examination is VIT Entrance Exam for the B.Tech (VITEEE 2022) course in various streams conducted every year. Every year VITEE is conducted to enroll students for various undergraduate courses. The seat allotted to the students is on the basis of merit which is released by the university on the basis of marks scored by a candidate, the stream of choice is allotted to the candidate.

VIT Eligibility Criteria

VIT Vellore Age Criteria:

•  Candidates must complete the minimum age requirement for the exam that is 17 years.
•  Applying candidates must have born on or after July 1, 1999.
•  Candidates must fill the DOB as mentioned in the High School certificate. The High school certificate required at the time of counseling as proof of their age.

VIT Vellore Educational Qualification:

Candidates need to appear in any of the below qualifying exams for the entrance test

•  Candidates must need to qualify for their 10+2 level exams organized by CBSE/ ICSE/ State Board.
•  Need to qualify their Intermediate or two years exam conducted by a recognized University or Board.
•  Only Regular ‘NIOS’ board candidates are eligible for VITEEE.
•  Candidates who have appeared for the +2 exam through different boards in the same academic year are not eligible to appear for VITEEE 2022.

VIT Vellore Qualifying Exam Marks & Subjects:

•  Candidates need to secure at least 60% in their 10+2 level with subjects of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology.
•  Candidates belonging to ST/SC categories and north-eastern/Jammu and Kashmir region must have secured a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in PCB or PCM subjects.

Only students who have studied Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry are eligible to apply for B.Tech programs.

VIT will call the first 20,000 rank holders of VITEEE 2021 for Phase-1 of counseling. VIT University uses an equating methodology for calculating candidate’s marks.
