Comparative Approach:
In this approach, auditor compares the organization with Competitor Company as the model. The results of the both organizations are compared and evaluated.

· Analyzing data and interpretation of data.

Statistical Approach:
In this type of approach, statistical measures of performance are developed based on the company’s existing information. The statistical information like employee turnover, absenteeism are maintained by the company used as the measure of the performance.
Outside Authority Approach:
In this kind of approach, a set of standards made by an outside consultant used as a benchmark for the comparing results with their own results.
Compliance Approach:
In this approach, past actions of the company is reviewed by the auditors to determine to see those activities are in comply with the legal provisions of the company policies and procedures.
Management by objectives (MBO) Approach:
In this approach we create specific goals. Targets are fixed; performance is measured against these targets. The auditor’s team research and find the actual performance & compare with fixed objectives.
