In the year of 2014, Apremilast was approved by the US FDA in order to treat adult patients with the active psoriatic arthritis and moderate to severe plaque psoriasis.

In the year of 2019, Apremilast was approved in order to treat oral ulcers associated with Behçet's disease.

Technically named a novel PDE4 inhibitor, apremilast (otezla) works in order to target the enzymes involved in the processes of inflammation that cause the signs and symptoms of psoriatic arthritis. It's basically a long-term treatment, so it could be up to 4-months prior to you starting to notice the benefits.

Apremilast originated in the form of tablets, which can be taken either with or without food, one in the morning and one in the evening. You start off on a low dose of 10mg and work up to the maximum (30 mg twice a day) over 6-days.

In January 2015, Apremilast was approved for use in the European Union.

In the year of 2019, Amgen acquired Otezla from Celgene for 13.4 billion US$.

The apremilast 30 mg price in India is around 64,080 INR for a supply of 27 tablets, depending on the pharmacy you visit. Any WHO-GDP & ISO certified pharmaceutical wholesaler company would be best in order to buy this medication.
