FAQ
What are A and AAAA records?
A points a domain to an IPv4 address. AAAA points it to an IPv6 address. Every website needs at least one A record to be reachable.
What does MX mean?
Mail Exchange. Lists the servers that accept email for this domain. The "priority" column picks which server to try first — lower = higher priority.
What is SPF / DMARC?
SPF (in a TXT record) says which servers are allowed to send mail claiming to be your domain. DMARC (in _dmarc.domain TXT) tells receiving servers what to do if a message fails SPF/DKIM checks. Both are critical for deliverability.
Why should I care about CAA?
CAA tells certificate authorities which of them are allowed to issue SSL certs for your domain. Without it, any CA can issue — a supply-chain attack risk.
Why is my change not showing?
DNS propagation. Changes can take up to the TTL value (in seconds) to reach every resolver — sometimes longer with CDN caches. Our tool does a live query, but the response depends on what your resolver has cached.
